Life is fragile. It can disappear in a heartbeat. Don’t forget the ones that love you. Cherish them. Because in a blink of an eye. They can be gone.
All You Did Was Save My Life - Our Lady Peace . I don’t know what happened to the Youtube version, so Vimeo it is. It’s a rock song from like 2009 by Canadian band Our Lady Peace. If you know what’s going on with my life, you’ll understand why I chose this song today. It’s a lovely song on it’s own, but when you can combine what’s going on in my life, it makes it that much more special.
Circles - OurAfter The drummer for this band is Chad Szeliga formerly of Breaking Benjamin. This is one of the only copies on Youtube. Kinda how I’m feeling, has a nice little indie feel to it.
The Only Ones - Kisses For Kings (K4K) ft. Johnny 3 Tears (J3T) of Hollywood Undead These guys remind me a lot of Simple Plan. They just have this vibe. And in the middle of no where. Johnny Three Tears of Hollywood Undead comes up with a nice little rap. The lyrics is ehhh. But still. Not bad..
Some people might chuckle at my music choices, but this song is really important to me. I’ve lost family, friends, and in general loved ones to cancer. Cancer has deep roots in my family, as I’ve seen everything from grandparents to aunts fight through this. Sooo personal story time.. When this video was first released, my grandma was fighting breast cancer, and this video gave me hope to fight through. Because after all, it wasn’t too long before this I saw my aunt pass away to cancer. Fast forward three years, her recovery was wonderful and is great now. Now it’s my grandpa’s turn, he has cancer, but refuses to get checked. So all I can do is hope and draw through the strength I got three years ago from this song. Yeah so thanks for reading my story.
Just felt like going back to when I was 12 or 13. I’ve seen this music video like a hundred times. I swear. I use to watch it like 20 times a day. This was on repeat. The video.
Life is just a bunch of numbers. How we manipulate them in to our own liking is what separate the successful and the unsuccessful.
Yes. It’s Nickelback. But this song? This video? It’s worth it. The meaning behind it. It makes me chills me every time.
Always down to listen to this song. It brings back so many memories. The upbeat tune, the pop like chorus. It’s very preppy, but yet it’s energy pumps me up. In a way at least…
